1. Overview

Bntrry is a private messaging platform that may use artificial intelligence to transform text, images, audio, and other media. By using Bntrry, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy described below.

2. AI & Third-Party Processing

When AI-powered features are enabled in a conversation, certain content you submit may be securely transmitted to third-party service providers (“AI Providers”) for processing. This may include text, images, videos, audio (such as voice messages), and limited metadata required to generate the requested result.

AI Providers process this data solely to provide the functionality you request (for example: transforming content, generating suggested text, or producing transcriptions). Bntrry does not sell your personal data.

Where available, we configure integrations to minimize data exposure and share only what is necessary to deliver the feature.

If you do not want content processed by AI Providers, you can disable AI-powered features or avoid using them within the Service.

3. Provider Flexibility

Bntrry may change, replace, or add third-party service providers from time to time to improve performance, safety, or reliability.

4. Privacy & Data Handling

We may process account information, user-submitted content, and technical data necessary to operate and support the Service. We do not sell personal data.

Some data processing may occur through trusted third-party providers that support features such as messaging, media handling, AI-powered functionality, and system reliability. We make commercially reasonable efforts to respect user privacy choices within our control.

4A. App Permissions

Bntrry requests device permissions only when required for core messaging features:

• Camera: Used only when you choose to capture photos or videos to share within conversations.
• Microphone: Used to record voice messages and support speech-to-text transcription features.
• Photos / Media: Used to select, upload, and save images or videos within conversations.
• Contacts: Used to enable messaging features and help manage communication. We do not sell contact data.

You can manage or revoke permissions at any time through your device settings. Some features may not function correctly if permissions are disabled.

4B. AI Privacy Disclosure

When AI-powered features are enabled, Bntrry sends only the minimum necessary content to AI Providers to produce the requested output.

• What may be shared: Content you choose to process with AI (such as message text, images, videos, or audio for transcription), along with limited technical information required to complete the request.
• How it’s used: To generate the AI result you requested and to help maintain safety, reliability, and performance of the Service.
• Retention: Data may be retained temporarily by providers as needed to deliver the requested functionality and maintain service reliability, in accordance with their policies.
• Your choice: You can disable AI-powered features if you do not want content processed by AI Providers.

5. User Responsibility

You are responsible for the content you submit and for complying with all applicable laws and third-party terms.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

7. Updates

These Terms and this Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated versions.
